The Second Sister

My name is Sam. My hair has never obeyed me.
we pulled into portland last night and waking up this morning in a breezy, chilly, quiet house has made me feel something I haven’t felt since ohio. los angeles was an exciting adventure, but it now occurs to me that I don’t think I relaxed or felt one bit at home the entire time that I was there.  I feel a serenity that has been missing for months and it is helping me cope with the undeniable homesickness I think we all feel for athens on what would be our first day of class.  I feel like I am making the right choice and moving up and on.
