#MUSTLOVEMUSTLOVEDOGS: Rachael →
danielowl:
She died three days ago in a car crash. I just found out today. I don’t know what to think.
The first time I met Rachael, she was laughing at Mary Beth behind the counter at Mitchell’s Ice Cream. She had fainted an hour before I arrived and our manager was trying to convince her to go home….
oh dan, oh my. my heart breaks at this news, I am so so sorry. please call me if you...
PDX
Portland is a funny place.
Cyclists are way less considerate of pedestrians than drivers.
People don’t age here. Meaning I always assume people are my age and then learn they have grandchildren. Or something like that.
So far, it has been the most glorious fall I have ever encountered. Blue skies, 40’s, yellow leaves for two months straight. People warn me about how grim it is...

“why is your app store all the way back here?”
“because it has a 27 on it.”
I want this movie (not to mention poster) for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Almodovar is a breath of fresh air for any person exhausted by stale, static female characters, predictable narratives and cliché visuals. A gripping, sci-fi melodrama, this is the best film I have seen in a long time.
PLEASE see it so we can talk about it.

knock on wood
dare I say it?
.. I think I’m excited?
In my mind
in-aglasshouse:
I still live in Athens. I have not left my friends and the person I love. Never mind the fact that all of my possessions are weighing down the back of my little Honda (under the front seat are my graduation cords and tassel) or that I’ve traced the route from Athens to Los Angeles in my road atlas.
I don’t yet feel the change happening. I don’t feel myself opening to it.
...
And here it is.
Sets/Puppets built by Andrea and Me
Workout Girls animated by Me
Harold animated by Andrea.
Sound/ Music by Nathan Moore
Commercials created by eleven students we worked with Winter Quarter.
Want to wish all of my loves in Athens an amazing final week.
Eat sick amounts of Casa and O’Betty’s for me.
Then I urge you all to come see me here because I miss you.
Bring me a Mata Hari if you can. Think it’d make the trip?
Hunting for a Room
So, because I can’t commit to any living arrangement here, I’ve started to look for rooms for rent in Los Angeles because these are often just casual month to month situations.
But it can get sketchy. For instance:
I was talking to a girl who sounded nice until I looked at her facebook and all of her heroes were serial killers.
So while I may be confused about virtually every aspect of my life right now, I just found out I get to work on a Spongebob Squarepants stop motion special for Nickelodeon with these guys! Super, super excited.
